With all the unique challenges facing us today, I first want to have a grateful heart and acknowledge the beauty of quarantined life on this little farm with my family. We are beyond blessed to overall have a high functioning and healthy family.

As in every area of my life, and as you’ll soon learn about me, I give nearly everything I do a ton of thought. So, to no surprise, I really wanted a name that had depth and meaning; I put a lot of pressure on myself to choose a name that would capture the essence, values and purpose of the brand.
This journal will be a behind the scenes look at the brand and why I do what I do, but it will also take a look at my family and our lifestyle – the heartbeat (the roots) of Root and Splendor.
